All reading Achewood instead of sleeping

I've been reading through the seven-year backlog of Achewood. I'm almost up to 2005! If you don't read Achewood, you need to read Achewood.

I just remembered something funny that I forgot to blog. A couple of months ago I was watching Rove Live with the captions for the deaf people. Imagine being the poor bugger who has to type like mad trying to keep up with that for a whole hour, all making mistakes and going "damn, I could go for a drink right now but I have to type for this show". Luckily I can stop typing whenever I want.

Haha I know only too well what you're talking about there. 'Live Subtitles' its called (which is obviously a feature of live television such as sports and the pile of oooze that is BB). Its a complete joke...not only do they make a bucketful of mispellings and grammatical errors, it is also waaaaay out of sync (at least 5-10 seconds). So frustrating that it probably does more to torture deaf ppl than the intended objective, so much that i feel inclined to grab whatever is nearest and chuck it at the TV.
On behalf of all the deaf ppl- fuck the creators of live subbies.
